I'm in denial.
Is it really the end of August already??
Summer is over.
Kids are back in school.
Pumpkin spiced everything is about to hit the shelves.
I am having a hard time with this.
With September comes my sweet, sweet nephew's birthday.
My sweet MICHAEL turns ONE!
Last weekend we met to do his FIRST BIRTHDAY PICTURES! AHH!!
There were overalls, books, toy puppies and CAKE! It was picture perfect... well, except for the RAIN! We planned on shooting at a park down the road from my brother's house, but the day was calling for lots of rain. We did our best to shoot before the rain started... we got some shots in and then the skies opened.

This month over at TWELVE BY TWELVE, the theme is SHADOWS and was chosen by the amazing Rita of INFINITY PHOTOGRAPHY BY RITA. I was going through and editing Michael's pictures from the park and I just loved this one.
