It's so hard to believe that the month of May is over and it's already time for our TWELVE BY TWELVE post.  This month's theme was chosen by the lovely Patty of SWEET PLUM PHOTOGRAPHY.

The given theme was SOFT.  

Soft baby skin.  Soft sheets.  Soft light from the bedroom window.  

Sweetest baby girl.

And Eve Makes Three | Tampa Bay Lifestyle Newborn Photographer

I don't do too many newborn sessions, and the ones that I have done have been lightly posed and mostly of the baby.  This year, I have decided that I am only going to offer lifestyle newborn sessions in the clients home from now on.  I want to focus on the connection between you and your new precious miracle.  I want to capture you snuggling and kissing and loving on that sweet baby.  I want to stand back and let you guys do "your thing" and let me be there to freeze time for you.  

Which brings me to this session.  I first met B & W back in December, when we did their MATERNITY SESSION AT THE BEACH.  They welcomed their gorgeous baby girl in January and we were all set for our newborn session.  They brought me into their nursery and I was in love.  Nothing better then a good rocker next to a window.  

B & W were NATURALS with sweet baby E.  They loved on her like they had been doing it their whole lives.  Baby E still had her days and nights mixed up, so she didn't want to do much, other then sleep.  Dad tried desperately to wake her a few times to show me her gorgeous eyes.

She only peeked at us a few times... for a very short time... but when she did... it was magic.   

is there anything cuter then a baby yawning?
I didn't think so.  

I loved that we were able to get in a few pictures with Eve's Grandparents, who were all in town to help the new parents!!

1/2 Year Gone | Tampa Bay Area Children's Photographer

Our sweet little Noa turned 6 months on September 17th (yes, I realize that was almost a month ago). We took her 6 month pictures, but it's tend us a little bit of time to come around to blogging it.  I wanted to do a little more then just the sticker pictures that we've done for her other months -- and now that I have everything that I want, it was time to blog.  

Raspberries.  Always.  

Those chunky little thighs kill me.  I just want to eat them up!

Kalia's new favorite things:  tilting her head to the side and saying "awwww" & roaring.  

Also... "so big".

Four months.   

It's so insane how much can change in just one short month.  

Right before she turned 4 months, she began rolling.  Both tummy to back & back to tummy.  She seems to really enjoy her tummy time.  Her neck control is insane, if I do say so myself.  Pretty sure this ones going to be crawling before her sister did.  

The kitty? It was a gift from her big sister on the day she was born.  

Kitty's name is Lona (pronounced Mona, but with an "L").  

Noa is super duper snuggly.  She usually has a muslin blanket or her kitty smushed to her face as she falls asleep.  As long as she's snuggling, she's usually okay.  

My favorite thing about Noa right now.... that wrist roll.  Do you see it? 

I seriously just love, love, love my chunky little Goose.

Sister-friend also loves to chew on her toes.  So that's fun.  

And although I didn't catch it on camera for her 4 month post, she's also blowing raspberries like a pro.  

And this relationship... the one between the big and the little.... 

Well, that gets more and more beautiful by the day.

Three months. 

The three fastest months of my life.  

I know that every parent says it... but we are so blessed with such a wonderful little girl.  She so happy and easy going.... as long as she's home, in her crib by 7pm.  

If not... our little princess turns into a pumpkin.  

She adores her big sister... she smiles when we call her Goose.... she enjoys sucking on her toes.

She rocks at tummy time... she loves snuggling with her cat (which big sister has named Lona)... she loves bath time.
